I. Basic Attributes
Product Name: 3PE/TPEP Corrosion-Resistant Steel Elbow (usually a 90° elbow, can also be customized to 45°/180° and other angles)
Base Material: Carbon steel (such as Q235, 20# steel), in some scenarios, alloy steel is used
Corrosion Protection Process:
Outer Wall: Three-layer polyethylene (3PE) anti-corrosion layer (bottom layer epoxy powder + intermediate adhesive + outer layer polyethylene);
Inner Wall: Commonly 8710 epoxy coating (yellow coating in the figure), or TPEP (epoxy powder + polyethylene) composite layer;
Appearance Feature: Tubular structure, the outer wall is a black anti-corrosion layer, the inner wall is a yellow/green anti-corrosion coating, the interface retains the metal welding surface.
II. Core Features
Dual Anti-corrosion: The combination of the anti-corrosion layers on the inner and outer walls, simultaneously resisting external environment (soil, moisture) and internal medium (water, chemical fluids), suitable for strong corrosion scenarios;
High Pressure Resistance: Carbon steel base material can withstand ≥1.6MPa nominal pressure, suitable for high-pressure pipeline systems;
High Adaptability: Can be welded and connected with steel pipes, anti-corrosion pipes, etc., commonly used in turning nodes of long-distance pipelines;
Long Service Life: The anti-corrosion layer is stable, with a service life of up to 30-50 years in buried / humid environments.
III. Application Scenarios
Mainly used in oil and gas transportation, municipal water supply and drainage, chemical pipelines, mine tailings transportation, etc., is a key component for achieving direction turning in long-distance anti-corrosion pipeline systems.
IV. Execution Standards
Usually comply with industry standards such as SY/T 0413 (3PE anti-corrosion), GB/T 23257 (anti-corrosion layer thickness), and the corresponding specifications need to be selected according to the transported medium and pressure grade.
