The heat preservation pipe tee is a connection component in the pipeline system used for heat preservation diversion / confluence.
1. Structure and Materials
Inner layer (working pipe): Carbon steel material (seamless / welded steel pipe)， used for transporting media (steam， hot water， hot oil， etc.)；
Insulation layer： The orange part in the figure is the polyurethane foam layer (or insulation materials such as silicic acid alumina)， which serves to insulate and reduce heat / cold loss；
Outer layer (outer protective pipe)： The black part is high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or anti-corrosion coating， which protects the internal structure from corrosion and mechanical damage.
2. Core Function
It is mainly used in centralized heating / cooling pipeline networks， petrochemical transportation pipelines， and cold storage pipeline systems， etc.， to solve the insulation problem at the branch points of the pipeline and prevent the loss of medium temperature.
