304 stainless steel is suitable for general corrosive media (weak acids and alkalis, chemical dilute solutions), 316/316L due to the presence of molybdenum element, has stronger resistance to chlorine corrosion, suitable for seawater, strong acids and strong alkalis, etc. harsh media.

Alloy steel material (16Mn, 15CrMo, F11)
By adding alloy elements such as manganese, chromium, and molybdenum, it enhances high-temperature strength, high-pressure resistance, and anti-rust performance.
16Mn is suitable for medium-temperature and medium-pressure conditions, 15CrMo, F11 can withstand high-temperature and high-pressure (up to 600℃ and above, high-pressure grade PN16 and above), with strong impact resistance.
Suitable for high-temperature steam pipelines and high-pressure fluid transportation systems in industries such as power, petrochemicals, metallurgy, etc.
Material selection principle
Based on medium characteristics: Select stainless steel for corrosive media, carbon steel for neutral media, and alloy steel for combined strong corrosion and high-temperature high-pressure conditions.
Based on working condition parameters: Select carbon steel for normal temperature and pressure, alloy steel for medium-high-temperature and high-pressure conditions, and stainless steel for low-temperature or high-humidity prone to rust environments.
Based on cost requirements: For batch regular projects, select carbon steel to control costs, and for special conditions, upgrade to stainless steel or alloy steel as needed.
